So I decided to be completely psycho and pick up a lover100 table for my obsession over Terra X Sabin. I think there might be something really wrong with me. (If not because of that then my other weird obsession with Edgar x Relm.) I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but what the hell. At least it'll be up here if anyone wants to find it later.

Using the TARDIS socks pattern as posted by swallowedbysky (thank you for posting it!), I made a Christmas stocking for a friend who is a fan of DW.  I followed the pattern exactly but used 4ply yarn (instead of fingering weight/sock yarn) and a size 1 (US) needle. It looks a little smaller, in the pictures, than it actually is.  :)

I saw Avatar, and it gave me funny dreams. I also saw Gentleman Broncos, and it sucked, and I was sad.

In conclusion, I want to ride an alien leopard-thing and possibly a battle stag (which is to say, I did like the visuals of the ridiculous scifi scenes in Gentleman Broncos).

On a completely different note, ANBODY GOT A RECIPE THAT REQUIRES CRYSTALLIZED GINGER? I found a largish, affordable package at Whole Foods and now have nothing to do with it. I wanted to make chewy ginger cookies, but I lost the recipe.

...I ate some of it by itself, and it tastes like a pine tree.

Day after tomorrow is my birthday and like a good kitten I intend to fatty up and sleep. Besides the regular traditions of birthdays and gathering for the end-of-year holiday feasts, this is a great time of year to chase down old friends and give them hugs and I will busy myself with that too. I might be scarce on AIM and especially so during the 23rd to 25th, but I'm still around. Just toss me a mail or a comment if you need me.
